Aug 12, 2012 · Doesn't work on 10.8.2 Mountain Lion because this checks the whole string before the APPLE SSD to be nulled and the first character of the string after. In 10.8.2 the string after no longer is "Queue Depth", an additional SSD marker string "APPLE SSD TS" has been inserted so the first character after is "A" (\x41).

Mar 27, 2011 · But unless Apple makes any changes, everyone on Intel, Crucial, OCZ, Corsair, etc, SSD drives, will not have TRIM from the start in either 10.6.8 or Lion. That's the point of the patch. It not only gives you TRIM support one patch before Apple releases it, it could possibly be the only way to get TRIM support throughout SL and even in Lion....

In addititon I got some system crashes after I tried to activate TRIM using the TRIM Enabler. I never saw this befor (!). TRIM could no be enabled.
