Jun 21, 2016 · You can’t do this with the native video player of PSP. There was a homebrew called PMPlayer which used to support subtitles and it was also able to play mutliple file formats. Dec 19, 2014 · Unfortunately PSP doesn’t support soft-subs. It means you have to hard-code subtitles into your video if you want them. Go to Subtitles tab, choose the subtitle in your source and tick the burn-in box to hardcode them. You can also import a.srt file if you choose Import SRT option.

Oct 24, 2011 · I've spent the last 6+ hours researching Xvid4PSP and the possible ways to hardcode a subtitle so it'll show up on my psp once it's converted. From what I read the option only allows an already seperate subtitle file to be hardcoded for conversion. The problem is, I'm not sure what this file falls under (soft or hard).
