I couldnt see anything in the Sky config I have had to fit a new router on top of my Sky+HD box in my living room down stairs but have my Xbox and main PC upstairs. As @SDR says you can actually use any router you like now and bin the Sky router if thats what you want to do. Alternatively, to mimic modem only mode on the Sky router, you'll want to turn off WiFi & DHCP and put the IP address of your secondary router in the DMZ of the Sky router.
