If Wi-Fi range is an issue for you then just buy a long range output cable router and plug it into the Sky router and have two SSID’s! Most cable routers won’t even need to be configured either, easy, Plug it in and go! For those that still want to proceed I will include my logs.

Oct 15, 2015 · Then I went into Wireless Setup on the Sagem Sky router (F@ST 2504) and selected the Access List. In there I deleted the reference to the MAC for the WD device, and added the newly found MAC for the Buffalo dongle.

Feb 23, 2011 · Sky say it's against their T's and C's to use a non Sky Router but I've yet to hear of anyone being banned because of it. you certainly won't get support on a non sky router if you phone them but beyond that they don't do anything at the moment if you use a non Sky Router.

This is a only very slightly modified sky firmware, it should not be detectable by sky that you are running a different firmware. This firmware will work with the upcoming version of Sky Router Tool. This firmware can be used to easily return a router which has had Sagem F@ST 2404 firmware flashed to it to Sky firmware. How to install it
