Jan 22, 2010 · What am I doing wrong in setting up my mail account which prohibits it from sending e-mail on Wi-Fi? I have the latest version of iTUNES so that is not the issue. Is this a port problem? My outgoing server port is set to 25 and my incoming server port is set to 110. My SSL setting is set to off. Also I am using password authentication.

If all settings are correct and you can’t send out email using Office 365 account either, I recommend you test if the Office 365 server is working properly for this account for SMTP client submission.

Aug 17, 2018 · FQDN reach the right IP, IP is static and I do not have a failover server. It seems that mail left the building (I see SMTP traffic trough my firewall), but it wont reach the receiver and give the authentication message in 3CX.

It does not support authentication (SMTP-AUTH) but you have chosen to use authentication. Uncheck 'Use name and password' for that server or contact your service provider. I didn't find anywhere from account settings dialog box a check box saying Use name and password.

It will VERIFY these settings. If it does NOT verify, then something is wrong. It could be that your password is typed in wrong in this particular area, or did not get saved to this part of the email set up.
