    I need Multi-Core Rendering disabled in order to join Valve servers without crashing, but it re-enables itself everytime I start TF2. I am using the DX9frames Config by Chris (not me) and I'm wondering if there is a command in there doing this.

    Admittedly, I haven't run TF2 in a while (what with classwork and job eating up most of my time, mind you), but saw that the newest patch added something called "multicore rendering", which from additional searching around is supposed to improve performance on multi-core cpu's.

    Generally speaking multi-core helps. Here's the thing, no matter what, the max tf2 can use is core 0 and core 1 due to how old the coding is. Using process lasso can move almost everything off of these 2 cores when tf2 is running. level 2
