    Jul 29, 2017 · What service pack level is the Win2K VM on? Wikipedia says that DirectX 8 was released in November 2000, which would be too late for the first release of Win2K - meaning that the feature will not exist and hence VirtualBox drivers for it will be pointless. Or perhaps VirtualBox dropped support for Direct3D and Win2K.

    Just grabbed VirtualBox yesterday, and discovered this problem today. Without Direct3D support, VirtualBox is worthless to me. With it, I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for it. It's a shame, because you guys have done such a fantastic job with this software. Very user friendly, and *much* faster than qemu.
