Apr 09, 2010 · Since I also use Vyatta as my primary router I'd be very happy to see it as a Appliance in Proxmox. Also I'm thinking how to use it in KVM. I bealive the best way would be to use it from LiveCD + floppy with config (LiveCD checks floppy for config). But unfortunately there is no floppy support, or I don't know how to do it .

Jul 06, 2009 · On the bright side I downloaded the 5.0.0 Vyatta xva and that DID work. I hope the next kernel update won't have the same problem. Also, will it be possible for you to create 2GB Vyatta images in future? It's easy to add space by creating partition and mounting it but much harder to downsize a partition. It only uses 700mb of space at install.

Mar 06, 2010 · I want the Vyatta router VM to grab the ip from the Cable modem so that I can do proper NATing. So the question is: If I don't assign an ip to the eth1 device on proxmox, but bridge it to my Vyatta VM will it allow the Vyatta router to grab an IP address from the Cable modem? Thanks, Seth
