May 22, 2013 · A controller and couch is what I use to play games (thanks Steam for big picture!). It looks like Carbine is going to cater to both h/c and casual players, so I don't think there is alarm about controller support dumbing down the game. I wouldn't want it to. I've managed to hack controller support into pretty much any mmo.

Even adding Wildstar to Steam as external application allows for Steam Controller customization. Tested and its working so I assume the official Steam version will work as well. OK tested even further with mouselook and steam controller movement feels really fluid on default Steam confguration.

Sep 13, 2014 · Playing Wildstar with a Controller. I play Wildstar with a controller, on my warrior. It really changes the game for me (and is easier on my hands). If you would like to play wildstar with a wired xbox controller this is how! First buy xpadder (preferably) or download xpadder 5.7.

Jan 29, 2014 · On that note, I've heard a dev say that controller support is built, it just needs to go through QA. I think wildstar would be perfect with it. As long as they give you easy telegraph aiming, the ability to run towards the camera, and nice z targeting strafing. What's the consensus amount this community about native controller support?
