Jan 07, 2011 · It's worth it. Has been for about a year. Halfway through the WotLK expansion Blizzard implemented a graphics update and shortly after that they patched in SLI improvements. At the time I had been running WoW with a gtx295 so I was capable of benefiting from the SLI enhancements.

Hopefully with WOTLK coming out Blizzard might get smart and put some Sli compatibility in wow. I believe so too, since they moved the rls date to november 2008. Feb 23, 2005 · If you do not manually disable SLi you will lose anywhere from 10-15 FPS inside World of Warcraft. Disabling SLi through software does not have any effect. I hope NVidia will read this post and comment. At this point it is counter-productive to use a SLi system inside WoW.

WoW doesn't support crossfire or SLI.In fact, most MMOs don't support it. The code just is not optimized for it and as a result, things actually run worse.Even if they took the time to support Crossfire and SLI, I don't believe performance would increase much.
