Nov 12, 2015 · Support for SLI has to be built into a game by the developers in order for it to make good use of it. It is far more than "just drivers". You need sli/xfire profiles to work. A lot of games don't do that especially on launch.

Originally, I was going to go with a Quad, and a second monitor, with a board that could support SLI, but the problem is, if you want Dual-screen SLI in independent mode (ie: screen 1 displays wow in full screen/non-windowed mode, screen 2 displays movie of choice), it is not supported in XP, only in Vista.

Nov 10, 2015 · Now I don't want to hear that I don't "need" 980ti SLI or that I'm insane, figured that out already :cool: What I want to hear is if it's anyone in here running WoW, or other games for that matter as well, with 980ti SLI in 1440p. Apr 25, 2017 · A game supporting SLI or not is another question. A game BENEFITTING from SLI or not is a completely different question. A game might support SLI out of the box, but SLI benefits will still be limited if it runs 50 fps on a single GPU with an engine built in limit of 60fps. Both will affect how valuable SLI is for that particular reason.
