Apr 01, 2008 · But given that Apple uses the VNC protocol for screen sharing, it's unlikely to happen; VNC doesn't support audio, so Apple would have to engineer a completely new method for screen sharing. I don't believe that even Timbuktu supports audio sharing, though it could be in there and I just can't find mention on Netopia's web site. Regards.

I'm looking for a secure and hopefully free remote desktop client that will allow me to interact with my Mac OS X 10.6 machine from a 10.5 machine that will also transfer sound to the client.. At a minimum, the software must support a tunnelable connection.
