Jun 26, 2011 · If you are referring to the Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard, it can in theory support DDR3 memories, but you can not install that memory on this motherboard because it has only DDR2 slots. When you talk about DDR3, it means triple channel memory...that would mean that you would need at least three slots...

Dec 26, 2019 · The motherboard RAM works with the CPU and the graphics card RAM work with the processor on the GPU. The main thing you need to consider is the PCIe bus type. ie PCIe version 3 with 16 lanes. The GPU will be more compatible and run better with a matching PCIe slot on the motherboard.

Jun 25, 2014 · Yes you can when it says ddr3 on the mobo that's just for the motherboard ram. The gddr5 is graphics memory on the graphics card itself so it doesn't effect the mobo it effects the GPU's internal memory controller.
