Apr 30, 2008 · Yes, Adium supports it and I haven't had any issues with doing so. When I try to send a message to an offline contact, it pops up and asks whether I want to send an offline message. If you're not getting this option then check your preferences and ensure that you're running a recent version.

Mar 08, 2008 · Why is it that Adium doesn't allow the sending of offline messages - and is this feature planned for future updates? It will be very useful if you can send a message to a buddy while they are offline - because sometimes you just aren't online at the exact same time.
