Hi guys, by default on Mac there's no GLib and then the default EventDispatcher is the one using select(). select() has several problems but the biggest one is that it supports at most 1024 file descriptors. Reading at this bugreport there's no plan to write a different implementation for Unix systems.. Has anyone some suggestion how enable the glib support in Qt?

But still would like to build and try it under debian stable, make it build under older glib only need a few tweaks which can be controlled by macro, would like to know if this is going to support or it will only support glib greater than 2.60 version. Thanks a lot.

Jun 10, 2015 · Hi guys, I'm trying to add gstreamer support for Qt5 using linaro toolchain and udoobuntu12.04. If I don't use qtmultimedia all works fine. If I add qtmultimedia and then include the library for glib and gstreamer configure step hangs.
