Apr 20, 2015 · I have a PB Ti G4 (Model: M8592LL/A) with the original Airport card. I cant get this to connect to WPA networks. WEP wireless works fine. When I have a network set as WPA the PowerBook sees the network and when I attempt to join it recognizes it as a "WPA Personal" network, however I cannot join the network at all.

Mar 18, 2013 · If you have the 400mHz version, it is not equipped to connect to a WPA encrypt but it has limited options. A PowerBook G4 Titanium model can connect to a WPA network, provided it has mac OS X 10.3.9 or above installed. It may require an update for the airport software. It wont connect to a WPA2 encrypted network
