Oct 15, 2015 · WD’s edition of Acronis, and Arconis Home does not work with a RAID setup. This is not listed on WD’s website either. Tech support was surprised to find this out as well. This is very disapointing. Does anyone know of a program that will create an image of a RAID 0 configuration? Windows 7 Ultimate’s backup doesn’t work either.

Jan 03, 2013 · Software RAID in SBS uses dynamic disks and those can present a problem with Acronis. In the case of the former, create an image of your current configuration, remove both disks, install new larger disks, create a RAID1 volume, reboot with Acronis recovery media and restore.

Feb 18, 2005 · There are many variations of "sata raid". The controller is an important variable. I know it supports the Intel ICH5R raid controller but even that's not universal. It works on my sata raid. Acronis support is very, well, supportive. E-mail them with your raid issues.
